Do you have a Covid-19/ Sickness Policy in the Studio?
At this time we are no longer requiring masks to be worn unless clients prefer for us to wear masks. Please disclose when booking your session.
I only ask that minimal people (only those required to be in your photos) attend your session as the studio is small and there is not a lot of space for a bunch of spectators.
ALL people present in the studio are expected to screen for any illness on the day of their shoot. Covid, cough, cold, flu, hand foot and mouth etc. Any illness present and we will reschedule your session within 14 business days when everyone is better. I will show your family the same courtesy.
My studio is in my home and I have a toddler of my own and 2 older children as well as working closely with so many vulnerable little ones newborns, pregnant mamas & babies and it is imperative that we keep the studio a low contact and germ free space of any contagious illness.
Please do not bring anyone into the studio if you know they may be ill cold, flu or covid. No germs are welcome ever and sick kiddos don't usually take good photos anyways so it's best not to waste your session time if everyone is not feeling well.

When are your sessions scheduled?
All regular studio sessions are scheduled Tuesday to Fridays between 11am - 3pm each week. Weekend sessions are not available. Weekends are reserved for mini session events, weddings & my family.
Newborn Sessions are scheduled weekdays only at 12pm. (One per day) Weekday evenings are available if work schedules conflict between 4-6pm start time.
Cake Smash sessions are scheduled weekdays only. Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays between 10-2pm start times.
Select weekday evenings are available for outdoor maternity & family sessions at locations within the Durham Region.
How much notice is required to book my session?
I am a full time mom of 3 one being a busy toddler. Since my #1 job is being a mom to my two boys and my baby girl I offer limited sessions each week.
Please contact me to book your session approx 30-90 days in advance so we can begin planning for your session. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to fit you in last minute as I have limited bookings each week and usually am only able to book in one session a day. Spots book ahead so make sure to get in the calendar if you know you want to work with me. It's never too early.
When are newborn sessions booked?
It is best to book your newborn session in as soon as possible. Many clients do this around month 4/5. Newborn sessions are booked in 1-2 weeks or so following your due date. This is your session date. Most times it works out perfectly however if there are conflicts with the date (baby born super early or not born by session date) we can adjust to next available time in my calender.
Is a retainer required to book my session?
All sessions require a 40% retainer at time of booking to be put in my calendar and is payable by email transfer, your final balance can be paid in cash at your session or if you wish another emt prior to your session to samanthamacphotography@outlook.com
Other forms of payment are accepted such as credit however if paying this route please disclose at booking. When paying with credit card full payment is due at booking as instalment payments are not available via this method through my booking platform.
